Future Outreaches
El Salvador:
The heart of Safe Harbor has always been and continues to be outreach to the Least, the Last and the Lost. After many months of prayer, Safe Harbor is planning to travel to San Salvador to minister to single mothers and children. Plagued by severe gang wars, El Salvador is considered to be the most dangerous country in the Western Hemisphere. Another challenge facing the people are many unwed mothers left on their own to work and raise children singlehandedly. Safe Harbor will be partnering alongside various ministries to bring these women and children vocational training, nutritional training, and meet their basic medical needs. To learn more, or if this is an outreach you feel called to be a part of, contact us at info@safeharbor.us.
Nepal:
On April 25th, 2015, the country of Nepal was struck with a devastating 7.8M earthquake, with multiple destructive earthquakes following shortly after. Thousands of lives were lost, homes were destroyed, and life for those effected would never be the same again. Many ministries responded immediately by supplying man power, medicine, food, and supplies. While Safe Harbor has not yet responded with aid, we are continuing to pray God's direction in ministering to the Nepali people after the first crisis-response teams have left. We believe it is at this time when so many will be left feeling hopeless and in despair. Safe Harbor is planning to partner with other like-minded ministries to minister to the Nepali people in late Fall of 2015.To learn more, or if this is an outreach you feel called to be a part of, contact us at info@safeharbor.us.
